Candidates for US Senate
TNTR Choice: Mark McCloskey

The News That's Right remembers the McCloskeys first gaining fame when they defended their St. Louis home from thugs in 2020. Mark decided America was heading in the wrong directions, and decided he wanted to be a part of the solution. He will put a lucrative career on hold, take a huge pay cut, and endure politicians to fight for the values that made America the most envied nation on the planet. Sound like our former president? Mark also campaigned for our president on the Trump Bus. He is smart, a quick study, and a patriot. He is not already obligated in any other elected office, and we think his honesty, integrity, and business and legal skills make him the perfect choice to be Missouri's next senator.

Editorial: About the candidates TNTR did not endorse.

Eric Schmitt has been a fighter throughout 2021 and 2022. However, as MO's AG he is 1 of 1 and powerful as a result. As a US senator, he is 1 of 100. Plus, we are concerned with the big picture. If he moves from the state to the federal government, Parson will pick his replacement. Parson has proved in his last lame duck years he is anything but a conservative. Will he replace our strong AG with a liberal as he tried to do with the Kauerauf nomination to HSS? We don't think Missouri can take the risk, and we like AG Schmitt right where he is: at the center of the fight to save our state.

Eric Greitens is simply too mired in controversy, and not the good kind. We belileve were he to win the primary the salacious attacks from the Left would be non-ending and the cost would be losing the seat to a Democrat. Like it or not, the pragmatic view is that he's un-electable in our current climate.

Vicky Hartzler fights for us....every election cycle. She recently voted for red flag laws. She also referred to President Trump's comments on January 6th as "unpresidential" and called the patriots gathered at the Capitol "thugs". For TNTR such blatant disrespect is enough to remove her from consideration. However, there's more. She has a lifetime score 78% from the American Conservative Union, a 66% lifetime score from Club for Growth, and a 2020 score of 60% from Freedom Works. It's time for this one to go home.

Billy Long - Billy voted to have your vaccine status outed in a federal vaccine database. Has numerous other controversial votes as well.

Candidates for US House

TNTR Choice: Taylor Burks

The News That's Right thinks Taylor Burks is the clear choice for US Rep for the 4th CD.  Taylor is a Lt. Commander in the Naval Reserves, a three combat tour vet, and former County Clerk for Boone County who grew up spending summers on a cattle ranch. Taylor is a strong conservative. He understands national security issues, election integrity concerns, issues that surround farmers, and because he's not a politician, Taylor is able to bring the outsider perspective to the political arena. Plus, we like his public pledge to serve ten years and return home.

Mark Alford does not live in the 4th CD, and we think his own community is best served to have him fighting for them in his own district.

Rick Brattin was a freshman senator when he announced his run. We think the voters deserve all four years, and the conservative caucus needs his conservative vote to maintain their power.

Taylor, Bill, and Rick all have websites. Clicking their pictures will take you to the site.

Candidates for Missouri's 28th Senatorial  District
(State Senator)

TNTR Choice: Janet Arnold

The News That's Right is supporting challenger Janet Arnold. Janet is a grassroots choice, supported by people in her district who are fed up with the less than stellar voting record of sitting senator Sandy Crawford. Crawford has a 27% conservative voting record on 16 key bills over 2021 and 2022. That means she voted with Democrats 73% of the time!  Janet has tagged herself "RINO Hunter". We wish her luck on her campaign safari! If our state legislature is going to save our state from federal overreach and special interest groups it's going to require strong conservatives who are willing to stand up to the Left. Janet appears up for the task, and TNTR is behind her effort all the way.

Candidates for Missouri's 125th Legislative  District
(State Representative)
TNTR Choice: Dennis Turner

The News That's Right is squarely behind Dennis Turner. Dennis has experience in business ownership and cattle farming, has a degree in agronomy, and combines that background with sound knowledge and a depth of understanding of the issues affecting Missourians. As a life long citizen of our state, Dennis is fed up with the erosion of States' Rights, involving everything from federal land grabs to vaccine mandates, threatened gun confiscation, and more. He is tired of waiting on Jeff City RINOs to act in the best interests of the state and has decided it's time to enter the fight to secure and protect our future.

Candidates for Local County Offices

The News That's Right will have candidate information up soon for the following offices: Presiding Commissioner and County Clerk.

There are four offices with candidates up for re-election, but those candidates are running unopposed: Carrie Poe for Court Clerk, Brandi McInroy for Prosecuting Attorney, Shelly Baldwin for Recorder of Deeds, and Brandon Fisher for Associate Circuit Judge.
